OUR 2011 MEDICAL MISSION

From September 11 - 16, GEANCO's team of orthopedic surgeons and support staff from all across the United States set up shop in Regina Caeli Hospital in Awka, Nigeria. The team completed 17 hip and knee total joint replacements, ending these patients' agony and restoring them back to productive lives.

Our amazing mission team was comprised of Dr. Neil Sheth and Dr. Jared Foran, Zimmer Holdings sales rep Steve Kirschner, OR scrub tech Betty Onyema, nurses Phyllis Davis, Michael Frye, Amy Mills, Vicki Morton, Jacqueline Palmer, technician Kenneth Crusius, documentary producer Jennifer Stetson, videographer Bryan Adams, and GEANCO officials Dr. Godwin Onyema, Vincent Onyema and Afam Onyema.
